Work You’ll Do
As a Manager in M&A I&D S&G team, you will be responsible for:
Leading workstreams for integration and divestiture engagements across the M&A lifecycleDefining transaction strategy, operating model, and governance structure to drive integration/divestiture execution, decision-making, and accountability across workstreamsDeveloping Day 1 plans, workplans, milestones, governance forums, and executive-ready materials to support transaction executionCoordinating cross-functional teams to manage interdependencies, risks, issue resolution, and alignment to transaction objectivesAnalyzing transactions, operational, and organizational inputs to inform execution decisions, value capture priorities, and future-state planningManaging day-to-day client relationships, overseeing deliverable quality, mentoring junior practitioners, and contributing to proposal development

The Team
M&A advises corporate and PE clients across inorganic growth/divestiture scenarios through M&A strategy, diligence, integration/separation planning and execution, financial and modeling services, and transaction financing.
Within M&A, the Integration & Divestiture Strategy and Governance team supports Life Sciences organizations through integrations, carve-outs, and separations from announcement through close and post-close execution. The team focuses on governance design, decision-making, workplan orchestration, risk management, and value capture to help clients navigate transaction complexity and execute against strategic objectives. The team provides tailored services to the biopharmaceutical, medical technology, and generics segments. Our dedicated industry professionals work with companies in each of these segments to help them address the challenges and opportunities of the evolving health care ecosystem.
Qualifications
Required:
6+ years of M&A or M&A service delivery experience across the transaction lifecycle including due diligence, pre-close planning, post-close integration and/or divestiture6+ years of experience developing engagement workplans, coordinating cross-functional workstreams, and managing scope changes6+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering M&A engagements for corporate or private equity clients6+ years of experience serving Life Sciences organizations in M&A, integration, or divestiture engagementsExperience advising senior executives on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, disposition alternatives, or post-transaction activitiesBachelor’s degree and 6+ years of consulting and/or industry experience; alternatively, Master of Business Administration and 4+ years of work experienceAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
Recent experience working in a professional services consulting firmExperience developing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and process flows in Microsoft VisioExperience supporting communications, culture, or change management in M&A transactionsExperience conducting financial analysis, business process reengineering, or operational performance improvement analysisMaster of Business Administration or other advanced degree
