What You'll Do As our Financial Controller, you will: Lead and develop the Accounting DepartmentOversee all accounting operations, including: General LedgerAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivablePayrollCash ManagementBank ReconciliationsMonth-end and year-end close Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reportsPartner with department leaders to monitor budgets and recommend cost-control strategiesManage the organization's annual audit processEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local tax reporting requirementsMaintain strong internal controls and sound accounting practicesOversee the organization's ERP system and accounting processesReview insurance coverage and help mitigate organizational riskSupport financial oversight of federal contracts and grantsPerform and oversee 401(k) audit activities and Form 5500 filingIdentify financial trends and provide recommendations to the CFOLead continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function
