Job Description:
We are seeking a PCB Design Engineer to support the design, build, integration, and engineering verification of RF and digital circuit card assemblies (CCAs) used in Electronic Warfare products.
The ideal candidate is not strictly a PCB layout designer. This role requires an engineer who can design the board, support the build, and get hands-on with the hardware in the lab to test, troubleshoot, and verify that the CCA performs as intended.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working both at the design level and hands-on in the lab, supporting PCB development through engineering check-out and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform PCB design and physical layout activities for RF and digital electronic assemblies.
Provide engineering support during PCB fabrication, assembly, and build activities.
Coordinate and perform engineering verification and check-out of circuit card assemblies.
Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and testing of RF and digital CCAs.
Develop, modify, and maintain MATLAB scripts used for engineering verification and Electronic Warfare product testing.
Operate RF laboratory test equipment, including: Signal Generators, Vector/Precision Network Analyzers (PNA), Spectrum Analyzers
Analyze test results and troubleshoot hardware performance issues.
Work closely with electrical, RF, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to resolve design and build issues.
Support design reviews, documentation updates, and engineering changes as required.

Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with PCB design and physical layout.
Experience supporting the build, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
Experience using a PCB design or physical design tool such as: Siemens/Mentor Xpedition, Altium Designer, Zuken, PSpice, Or a comparable PCB/electronic design tool
Experience working with RF measurement and test equipment, including signal generators, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
Ability to perform hands-on engineering verification and hardware troubleshooting in a laboratory environment.
Experience with MATLAB, including creating or modifying scripts for hardware testing or engineering analysis.
Strong understanding of electronic hardware, PCB design principles, and electrical test methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong experience with Xpedition.
Experience designing or testing RF electronics.
Experience supporting Electronic Warfare, radar, RF, aerospace, or defense electronics products.
Experience with both digital and RF circuit card assemblies.
Experience taking PCB designs from development through build, test, and engineering verification.
