Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in New Britain, CT by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.02 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 3 weeks out, 3 nights at home

- Clean Inspection Bonus: $100

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150

Role Overview:
- Execute long‐haul routes with a team partner
- Ensure compliance and safety in all HAZMAT transports
- Keep precise logs and perform routine inspections
Drive under-3-year tractors with sleepers, APUs, and inverters backed by on-site maintenance. With strong mileage pay, safety and performance bonuses, biweekly home time, and robust health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) plans, HMD offers a driver-first culture built on reliability.
