Job Overview The Scheduling Supervisor oversees all aspects of scheduling and coordinating specialty care services for PACE Participants, supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating Scheduling and Transportation Coordinators. The role ensures that ready‑to‑schedule work queues are managed, standard scheduling workflows and SOPs are followed, pre‑authorization requests and accepted referrals are processed efficiently, and daily specialty appointments and transportation are coordinated. The Supervisor identifies scheduling barriers, completes scheduled visits, and promotes efficient, patient‑centered specialty care. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Scheduling Coordinators and Transportation Coordinators. Manage ready‑to‑schedule work queues and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards. Supervise processing of pre‑authorization requests and approved referrals, and coordinate daily specialty appointments and transportation. Identify barriers to scheduling specialty appointments and complete scheduled visits. Track and review productivity performance metrics and assess staff competencies annually. Ensure staff adherence to standard processes designed to deliver safe, effective, timely, efficient, and equitable specialty care services. Handle various supervisory duties requiring strong organizational and leadership skills. Minimum Requirements High school graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum one (1) year of supervisory or management experience in healthcare or a related field. Experience with process or quality improvement projects preferred. Knowledge of healthcare software systems (EHR, Epic, Connect) preferred. Minimum one (1) year of experience in medical specialty services appointment scheduling preferred. Compensation $68,640.00 – $85,800.00 annually. Actual salary offers consider budget, experience, skills, education, licensure, certifications, and other business factors. The range is subject to change and may qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
