Position Title: LEAD PRODUCTION COORDINATOR Location: HOUSTON, TX FLSA Class: EXEMPT Responsible to: Program Manager, Asset Management

Position Summary: The Lead Production Coordinator is a key driver within VoltaGrid's Asset Management team, responsible for owning the master production schedule across all operational fields — with a strong focus on data center asset builds and fleet readiness. This role will act as central coordinator, facilitator, and subject-matter resource, bridging efforts between internal and external stakeholders — including manufacturers, engineering, procurement, operations, and accounting. The Lead Production Coordinator ensures that production activities are well-organized, transparent, and executed efficiently to meet cost, quality, and schedule objectives. This position requires a self-motivated professional who can advise, influence, and collaborate across multiple teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the master production, procurement, and delivery schedule for asset build programs across VoltaGrid's operational regions.
• Lead expediting efforts with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure materials, equipment, and deliverables are produced and delivered in accordance with project schedules.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between engineering, procurement, operations, accounting, and external suppliers.
• Monitor project milestones, production progress, supplier commitments, and delivery timelines; identify schedule risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders to resolve schedule conflicts, material shortages, engineering delays, and other project obstacles.
• Facilitate project status reviews and communicate schedule performance, risks, and recovery plans to leadership and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering releases, documentation requirements, and supplier deliverables to support successful project execution.
• Develop and maintain reporting on key project metrics, including schedule adherence, supplier performance, on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, and risk exposure.
• Support forecasting, capacity planning, and long-range scheduling activities for asset deployment programs.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Production Coordinators on project coordination, schedule management, and expediting best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on project execution, supplier coordination, and schedule management processes.
• Act as a trusted partner to project teams, ensuring visibility, communication, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Other Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in expediting, project coordination, project controls, manufacturing project management, supply chain project management, or capital project execution.
• Demonstrated experience managing supplier schedules, production milestones, delivery commitments, and project timelines.
• Proven success coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical disciplines.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, critical path management, risk identification, and schedule recovery planning.
• Experience working with ERP, MRP, or project management systems to track production, procurement, and delivery activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and project tracking/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability for occasional travel to supplier, manufacturing, and field locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting data center infrastructure, power generation, electrical equipment, switchgear, generator, or distributed energy projects.
• Experience with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
• PMP, APICS/ASCM, or similar project management or supply chain certification.
• Experience leading supplier expediting programs or managing complex equipment deliveries for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
