Responsibilities
- Provide PTA support and assist licensed physical therapists in delivering care per the plan of care for residents in a LTAC/LTC setting.
- Assist with patient assessments, data collection, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and activity programs under supervision.
- Implement modalities and treatment activities as directed; monitor patient responses and adjust activities as approved.
- Document progress in patient records, track goals, and contribute to discharge planning and transition planning.
- Maintain safety, infection control, equipment setup, and proper patient positioning; uphold professional standards and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, and therapy aides to coordinate care; participate in interdisciplinary rounds when appropriate.
- Provide resident and family education on exercise programs and safe movement; support adherence to the plan of care.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements; contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing (state-specific) or eligibility for licensure in New Hampshire.
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
- Ability to work in a long-term care LTAC environment and meet assignment requirements.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Availability to commit to a 15-week assignment with 35 guaranteed hours per week.
