Forklift Operator - Position Summary

Immediate Hire!

As a Forklift Operator , you will be responsible for operating an industrial powered truck to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. Candidates must have previous experience operating forklifts and powered industrial trucks.

Forklift Operator - Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to safely transport materials throughout the warehouse and designated work areas.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Checking loads is secure.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Removing machine attachments and waste from materials from machine.
• Inspect products and materials for quality and report any discrepancies or damage.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines while maintaining a clean work environment.

Forklift Operator - Requirements

• Recent experience operating a powered industrial truck in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Ability to remain seated while operating a forklift for extended periods, including driving in reverse for long durations.
• Attention to detail, basic math, language, and reading skills.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
• May be required to use RF scanner gun.
• A valid state driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record may be required.
• Ability to sit on a powered industrial truck positioning body to drive backward for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures depending on seasonal conditions.

Forklift Operator - Open Shifts & Compensation

• Thursday-Tuesday | 7:00 am - until the job is finished
• Wednesday – Sunday | 7:00 am - until the job is finished
• Saturday - Tuesday | 7:00 am - until the job is finished
• $18.50 per hour
• Weekly Pay

Job Type & Application Period
