Senior Product Manager - AI

Job Description Summary The Senior Product Manager for AI at GE Vernova plays a crucial role in the development and execution of AI-powered products that transform business processes. This role is essential to our mission of pioneering AI-driven innovation and enhancing user experiences across the enterprise. The Senior Product Manager will work with GE Vernova and with the AI Portfolio Manager to identify, prioritize and build out AI products that focus on delivering improvements and value through the lens of the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) framework, measuring the impact of AI initiatives. GE Vernova Advanced Research is driving strategy and leading research & development efforts to execute on the business’s mission to help power the energy transition. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and research, to develop and execute product roadmaps that align with strategic objectives; provide input alongside the Portfolio Manager to build product roadmaps. Work closely with data scientists, IT, and designers to ensure the development of robust AI solutions, maintaining technical rigor and introducing new methods for verifying success and identifying risks. Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences by understanding and addressing user needs in AI applications. Support cross‑business coordination to drive improvements and innovations across Vernova. Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and make informed decisions; define and monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure the success and impact of AI initiatives. Monitor product performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance value delivery. Oversee the integration of AI products from third‑party software suppliers and determine best technology fit. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 7+ years of relevant professional experience. Preferred Qualifications Business Acumen: Ability to integrate business strategy with technical initiatives. Leadership: Proven leadership in managing cross‑functional teams and projects. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and occasionally C‑Suite executives. Experience building and deploying AI applications. Problem‑Solving Skills: Analytical skills to identify and solve risks and challenges. Technical Proficiency and Data‑Driven Mindset. Eligibility Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY or Cambridge, MA. For Cambridge, MA based resources, this position includes a required three‑month hybrid onboarding residency at the GE Vernova Advanced Research Center in Niskayuna, NY. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $113,200 – $188,800, with geographic differentials of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus. Travel, housing, and living stipend provided.
