Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Proficiency in administering standardized assessments and interpreting results
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEPs, and Section 504 plans
• Ability to counsel students individually and in groups
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention and academic support plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to promote student well-being
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on eligibility and service needs
• Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Support initiatives for positive school climate and mental health awareness
