Step into a dynamic and rewarding role supporting students’ well-being as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) serving K-12th grades near Petaluma, CA! This full-time contract opportunity runs from August through the end of June in the 2025-2026 school year, covering a vital staff leave and making a direct impact in the local school community.

As a credentialed CSN, you’ll play a key part in 504 plan management, medication administration, and providing daily health room support. Collaborate with staff, students, and families in a vibrant K-12 environment—no virtual assignments; your presence on campus makes all the difference.

What you’ll bring:

• Active California CSN license
• Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential required
• Prior experience in school nursing (K-12 highly preferred)
• Solid knowledge of 504 plans, medication administration protocols, and best practices in school health
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced school setting
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students

Your responsibilities:

• Manage health rooms and respond to daily healthcare needs
• Administer medications in accordance with school/district and state guidelines
• Develop and monitor students' 504 health plans
• Act as a health liaison among students, families, staff, and healthcare providers
• Maintain detailed health records in compliance with district policy
• Provide emergency care and advocate for student wellness
