The Department of Health is seeking a Regulatory Specialist II to help ensure qualified health care professionals can work in Florida and provide all Floridians with high‑quality health care. Responsibilities Review and process confidential exam and endorsement applications. Provide licensing status information, continuing education requirements, and fee details to customers via written and verbal communication. Use tools such as LEIDS, AxiomPro, and other online systems to answer customer inquiries accurately. Maintain current licensee information by reviewing documentation, updating records in LEIDS, and ensuring proper record integrity. Respond to licensees with written verification when changes are completed, ensuring confidentiality. Recommend and assist in implementing changes to policies and procedures to improve board office operations. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Interpret Florida Statutes, administrative codes, and regulations related to licensing and consumer protection. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows‑based computer systems. Ability to learn and use job‑specific software (LEIDS, AxiomPro) and office equipment. Compile, organize, and analyze data accurately. Provide consultative assistance and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Plan, organize, and coordinate work activities on a pre‑approved schedule. Maintain effective working relationships with others.
