If you want to work on technically challenging products in a modern, collaborative environment—where your ideas directly improve production efficiency—this role is for you!Why This Opportunity Stands OutMission-Critical Impact: Work on precision-engineered power and control solutions designed for demanding industrial and defense clients right out of Thompson, CT.Balanced Role: Dynamic mix of office design/data engineering and hands-on production floor troubleshooting.Career Growth: Join an established company offering tuition assistance, professional development, and long-term advancement.Comprehensive Package: Competitive base salary + full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with Company Match, Generous PTO, Paid Holidays, Parental Leave).What You’ll DoProcess & ERP Engineering: Build and maintain ERP engineering masters, bills of materials (BOMs), and production routings.CNC & Tooling: Support CNC programming for sheet metal/fabrication machinery, and design efficiency-boosting fixtures/tooling in CAD.Cross-Functional Troubleshooting: Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve non-conformance issues and optimize production methods.Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean/Kaizen initiatives to reduce costs, enhance quality, and evaluate new equipment/technologies.Design for Manufacturability: Collaborate with design teams on manufacturability reviews and make-vs-buy evaluations.What We’re Looking ForLocation: Onsite / Shop-floor support in Thompson, CT (occasional domestic and international travel required).Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent practical experience.Technical Skills: Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), reading engineering drawings & electrical schematics, and managing ERP manufacturing data.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to support production floor teams directly.Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsExperience with sheet metal fabrication and supporting CNC equipment.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Six Sigma).Ready to build mission-critical technology in Thompson, CT?
