Key Responsibilities

• Completing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, either independently or in collaboration with physicians, based on credentialing
• Educating patients and families about wellness, prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies per your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee cohesive and comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting all findings in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Pennsylvania
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
