Core faculty are critical to the success of a residency, supporting leadership in developing, implementing, and assessing curriculum, mentoring residents, and participaing in non-clinical activities such as interviewing/selecting applicants, providing instruction, mentoring residents, and various other duties. Qualified Candidates: Possess MD or DO degree and have 5-7 years experience in anesthesiology. Are certified by ABA and demonstrate clinical competence as a practicing Anesthesiologist. Must have faculty experience, leadership, organizational and administrative experience as well as demonstrated ongoing academic achievements (publications/program development, research) Have 3 years of education and/or administrative experience in GME. Will be appointed in good standing to medical staff of Mission Hospital/HCA Anesthesia. Must be licensed/licensable in NC and ability to be credentialed at Mission Hospital.
