Echo Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, New York, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist dedicated to enhancing patient recovery and improving mobility. Work Environment

You will work onsite at our Monroe facility, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Our supportive atmosphere encourages professional development and teamwork, allowing you to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create the best rehabilitation strategies for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess a diverse patient population to develop individualized treatment strategies that cater to their specific needs.
• Administer various therapeutic methodologies, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to support patients in regaining mobility and functionality.
• Maintain and update patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
• Set measurable goals and benchmarks for patient recovery and regularly assess outcomes to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, postures, and self-management strategies that promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to achieve holistic care for each patient.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous education programs to stay updated on clinical best practices and innovations in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Echo Rehabilitation Center include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various illnesses. Each day, you will encounter residents with unique needs, encompassing post-operative care, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your expertise in physical therapy will play a crucial role in their road to recovery, as you deliver care that is compassionate and personalized.

Qualifications

• A current New York State Physical Therapist License is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is necessary, with an MSPT or DPT preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, particularly in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with geriatrics or rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
• Advanced certifications or training in specialized therapy techniques would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
