RN - ER Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night-Shift Schedule Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active WI RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC or TNS Must-Have Active WI RN Licensure BLS certification ACLS certification PALS certification NIHSS certification TNCC or TNS certification Description:We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse for this position.Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws.Documents according to standards of care.Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient.Instructs patients and families in accordance with physician and clinic policy.Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.Utilizes clinical expertise to provide guidance to other departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.Employs critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues to the appropriate chain of command when necessary.Engages in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities and decisions, and peer review process.Holiday coverage is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
