Mechanical HVAC Engineer – Cincinnati, OH
Join a growing MEP consulting firm as a Mechanical HVAC Engineer and help design innovative, energy-efficient building systems for commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for new construction and renovation projects.
- Perform heating/cooling load calculations and equipment selection.
- Develop construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
- Conduct site visits and support construction administration.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams throughout project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of HVAC design experience in an MEP consulting environment preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with HVAC design software.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, mechanical codes, and building systems.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative team environment.
