Benefits HSA and FSA 401(k) 401(k) matching Competitive salary Dental insurance Donation matching Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Parental leave Training & development Vision insurance Wellness resources Job Summary The Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager will assist the Commercial Lines Account Management team in the production and service of new and existing accounts, including professional customer service and all related support for the book of business to which you are assigned. Process applications for, changes to, reinstatement of, and cancellation of insurance policies. Duties include reviewing insurance applications to ensure that questions are answered, compiling data on policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, etc., and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enter detail for new business applications as needed. Set up templates for Certificates of Insurance. Process change requests to the carrier and endorsements received from the carrier. Process incoming requests for additional information from the carriers. Prepare renewal kits and forward to clients for updated information. Prepare and assist with renewal summaries & proposals. Assist with loss run requests. Set up insured’s policy booklet. Modify, update, and process existing policies and claims to reflect any changes. Process and record new insurance policies and claims. Review and verify data, such as age, name, address, and principal sum and value of property on insurance applications and policies. Maintain files for each policyholder. Correspond with insured or agent to obtain information or inform them of account status or changes. Other responsibilities as needed to support the Commercial Lines Account Management team. Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 1 year of experience preferred in the insurance industry as clerical/customer service. Hold current and valid Property and Casualty Insurance license or be able to obtain one within 6 months of accepting the position. Supportive and responsive manner with internal and external customers. Above-average computer skills; proficiency in AMS360, ImageRight, Excel, and Word is strongly preferred. Ability to set up and conduct meetings in a virtual environment (Teams and Zoom) including screen sharing and presentations (PowerPoint, Proposals, etc.).
