Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patient Watch in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications work areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, visitor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Help support a professional environment by observing and reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
