Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards of care. The therapist will perform both therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
• Evaluate patient responses to respiratory therapy and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
• Conduct routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to patient care.

• 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - REQUIRED
• Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG trained - REQUIRED
• ACLS certification - PREFERRED
• BLS certification - REQUIRED
• Active NBRC certification and state licensure in Michigan - REQUIRED
