Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client in Saint Charles, MO that is seeking a Senior Accountant. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Lead fixed asset accounting activities, including project setup, capital expenditure tracking, asset capitalization, and annual inventory processes
- Support sales and use tax reporting and compliance requirements
- Assist with annual budgeting and operating plan preparation
- Partner with plant leadership, corporate finance teams, and auditors
- Perform financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or process manufacturing environment
- Large ERP systems experience required
- Experience with fixed assets, capital projects, and asset capitalization
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
