Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Hospice Coverage Area: San Mateo County Pay: $38.00 – $43.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem The Sequoia Difference At Sequoia Hospice, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional, individualized care. We’re growing and looking for an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Hospice Care team! What You’ll Do As a Hospice LVN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). You’ll follow the plan of care, deliver treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Implement nursing care based on comprehensive assessment and plan of care Document patient services accurately and timely Educate patients and families on diagnosis and self-care Coordinate hospice services and report needs to the care team Manage pain and symptoms; evaluate patient response to medications Use equipment and supplies effectively Participate in quality improvement and professional development What We’re Looking For Active CA LVN License Minimum 1 year of LVN experience (hospice experience preferred) Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join Sequoia?
