In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support foster children and families during some of life's most challenging moments and make a lasting difference.As a Behavioral Health Therapist I, you will support both traditional and non-traditional foster care programs, partnering with children, families, foster caregivers, and community resources to promote stability, well-being, and positive treatment outcomes. This highly collaborative role involves extensive community-based work and travel, as you coordinate care with county agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and other service partners to ensure comprehensive, family-centered support. However, flexibility to work evenings/overnights and on call as needed is required. Schedule would be adjusted for evening/overnight work. We are based out of two locations: 500 Walnut Street, 15132 & 132 South Main St., Greensburg 15601 however, you will primarily be out in the field. This position requires very frequent travel to which agency vehicles will be utilized for field travel. Dress code is business casual and parking options are paid for by employee.Sign-On Bonuses up to $7,000!!Responsibilities:· Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.· Documentation: Complete clinical documentation on the same day of service and provide necessary information for service authorization.· Case Reviews: Periodically review cases and serious clinical changes with supervisors and clinical personnel.· Patient Assessment: Assess changing patient needs and incorporate them into treatment plans.· New Patient Assessments: Conduct assessments of new patients under supervision, document clinical decisions, and implement treatment models.· Therapy and Education: Provide individual and group therapy, engage families in treatment, and educate patients on recovery.· Record Keeping: Document all patient-related activities according to guidelines.· Service Coordination: Discuss additional service needs with the clinical team and refer patients to appropriate care levels or community services.· Team Meetings: Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss cases, update treatment plans, and monitor progress.· Productivity Records: Maintain daily records of clinical productivity.· Treatment Planning: Create comprehensive treatment plans addressing a variety of patient needs.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code)One year of clinical experience preferred.Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred.Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR GRADUATE LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination.
