Senior Penetration Tester

Salary: $124,540 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree plus 12+ years of penetration testing experience, or equivalent experience.
• We require at least 8 years supporting enterprise security architectures and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• We seek substantial experience as a penetration tester in complex or classified environments.
• We expect advanced knowledge of penetration testing methods, offensive security practices, and industry-standard tools.
• We need hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, RHEL, Linux, and Tenable.
• We prefer practical experience using Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro, and Metasploit.
• We look for strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attacker-minded approach.
• We require excellent communication skills to present clear, actionable findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Preferred certifications include CEH, OSCP, or comparable offensive security credentials.
• An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

• We lead, plan, and manage penetration testing activities for systems, networks, cloud environments, and web applications in a TS/SCI setting.
• We perform thorough vulnerability assessments and software assurance reviews, then document findings and support remediation efforts.
• We analyze complex vulnerabilities such as buffer overflows, SQL injection, CSRF, XSS, race conditions, XXE, encryption weaknesses, and authentication bypass issues.
• We evaluate security considerations during software acceptance, including criteria definition, risk acceptance, documentation review, and independent validation methods.
• We apply security controls such as encryption, access management, and identity governance to help reduce exploitation and supply chain risks.
• We provide threat intelligence and vulnerability research aligned with frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and MITRE ATT&CK to guide cloud security decisions.
• We develop new or improved penetration testing techniques to uncover emerging risks and expand capability.
• We mentor penetration testing staff and help ensure consistency, quality, and rigor in testing execution.
• We represent the penetration testing function in discussions with leadership, engineering teams, and mission stakeholders as needed for a key personnel role.
