Security Guard / Site Access Coordinator Chicago, IL | Onsite Pay & Schedule $25/hr | W2 Full-Time | Monday–Saturday Site hours: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM Flexible for 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed Start ASAP Role Impact: We are hiring a dependable, tech-savvy, and customer-service-focused professional to support workforce access operations at a large-scale construction project. This role is less focused on traditional security and more focused on providing a smooth, professional onboarding and access experience for workers, visitors, and subcontractors. Candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, concierge, front desk support, workforce coordination, or tech-enabled customer service are encouraged to apply. Key Duties Manage site access using digital badging, QR codes, and biometric systems Verify credentials and compliance requirements before entry Assist workers and visitors with onboarding and access procedures Troubleshoot badge or system issues and scale when needed Issue temporary badges and manage visitor registration Maintain professional communication with workforce personnel and site leadership Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in customer-facing, workforce coordination, site access, hospitality, or related roles Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computers, tablets, scanners, and digital systems Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Construction or infrastructure project experience preferred Equipment & Work Environment Work performed at active construction site gates and controlled access points Frequent standing and walking throughout 12-hour shifts Use of computers, tablets, badging systems, scanners, and access control hardware Daily interaction with construction trades, subcontractors, and site leadership Preferred Skills Experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects Multilingual communication abilities Strong customer service and workforce coordination skills Pre-Employment Requirements Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of background and/or drug screening in accordance with site policy Legal Notice By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
