No experience in fencing? That's fine — we'll teach you. What we need is somebody who shows up on time, works hard in the heat, and wants to learn a trade. You ride in our truck — no miles on your own rig, no gas out of your pocket. You use our tools. You'll learn from a foreman who's done this for years, on real jobs, the first week. Stick with it and prove yourself, and there's room above this role as we grow the field side.

About HT Fencing

HT Fencing is an owner-run shop based in Prescott Valley. We install chain-link, ornamental iron, vinyl, and No-Climb fencing, plus gates and gate operators — residential, agricultural, and light commercial — across Northern Arizona. Small team, no corporate playbook, customers who call us back.

What the role is

You're the muscle and the hustle on the crew. You take direction from the foreman and you keep the job moving. Some days that's digging post holes in caliche; some days it's mixing concrete, carrying material, stretching chain-link, or holding a line straight while the foreman sets it.

A typical week is a mix of resi installs (one to three days each), ag fencing on bigger properties, and the occasional gate job. You're on-site across Yavapai County most days — ranches, suburban yards, whatever's on the schedule.

Day to day:

• Show up on time, ready to work, dressed for the weather.

• Load and unload the truck and trailer.

• Dig post holes — by hand and with an auger.

• Mix and pour concrete, set posts, carry and place material.

• Stretch fence, run rails, help hang gates.

• Keep the site clean — haul debris, pick up tools, leave it better than you found it.

• Learn. Ask questions. Pick up the trade.

What you need to have

• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. No fencing experience required.

• Able to lift 100 lbs, dig, bend, and work outdoors in all weather all day.

• Reliable transportation to our Prescott Valley yard each morning.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify on hire.)

• Show up every day, on time. That's the whole deal.

What earns you a callback

• Any construction, landscaping, ranch, or labor background — concrete, dig crews, demolition, anything outdoors and physical.

• Valid AZ driver's license and a clean record (we may put you behind the wheel down the road).

• English or Spanish — bilingual is a plus, but not required for this role.

• Hunger to move up. We promote from the crew.
