Ensure all equipment is maintained and ready for use by other departments. Ensure the Maintenance team is properly trained and qualified to do the job. This position will be assigned special projects when needed.**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**1. Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafebehaviors and conditions, timely reporting safety incidents and enforcing safety-related policies andprocedures.2. Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance team, including auditing the department for safety issues,managing installations and the set-up of all new equipment or movement of equipment in the plant, ensuringthe shifts are communicating, overseeing housekeeping, reviewing quality and quantity of work completed bythe Maintenance Technicians.3. Provide technical assistance to the Maintenance department.4. Program, write, design, and run diagnostics on ladder logic for wiring or PLC programming.5. Coordinate work schedules for the Maintenance department, including writing, reviewing, and updating openand completed work orders, updating mold damage reports, charting mold changeovers and press down timefor continuous improvement, setting up and scheduling all outside trainings, reviewing all mold/insert changeswith the Scheduler, and verifying times and configurations.6.
