We spend most of our time at work – so why not immerse yourself within a work environment infused with fun.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentAble to pass a Pre-Employment Background Investigation and Drug TestValid driver's license with reliable transportationMinimum of Three (3) years of related experience with fire alarm systems, to include programmingKnowledge and understanding of NFPA 72 codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installationAbility to diagnosis and troubleshoot fire alarm, security and access control systemsExperience with security, CCTV, and access control systems a plus (CDVI, Qolsys, HID, Hikvision)IT experience is a plusOverview:Preparing reports according to NFPA 72 standards. Assisting in the installation of fire alarm & mass notification system devices, and radio transmitters.Special Consideration will be provided to those who have additional skills in:General Fire Alarm & Mass Notification SystemsTroubleshooting experience a mustFire Alarm, Security, and Access ControlNICET Certification (preferred)Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Diagnose problem and perform minor repairs found on the fire alarm, Security and Access Control systemsRotating on-call scheduleDetermine materials and help maintain inventory as required for timely work completionDevelop and maintain relationships with building owners, building managers, and other customer representativesService, troubleshoot, and install fire alarm systemsMaintain records by documenting services performedPerform service/installation activities mainly on fire alarm systems, but also not limited to security alarm systems, CCTV, data, telephone, pa systems and card accessEvaluation and diagnosis equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problemsEffectively service panelsCoordinate rescheduling of any services with service dispatcher and customer to ensure total customer satisfactionWhy You'll Love Working HereAt Norred Fire, we believe in investing in our employees' success.
