This role shares a clinical matrix alignment to the Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of CVMC. This position has the following primary functions/responsibilities: 1) Provides oversight for daily clinical operational management and assures that documentation of the resident care processes are in alignment with standards of care.; 2) Provides supervision of nursing personnel and promotes a strong sense of team across disciplines 3) Serves as a role model by promoting a high level of customer service and service quality for the team. 4) Serves in the role of lead nursing administrator, promoting nursing accountability with a focus on evidence-based practices; 5) Has accountability for the development and management of the nursing services budget. 6) Ensures that applicable state and federal regulatory requirements are being met in the provision of effective, high quality resident care. EDUCATION: Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. Graduate of an approved professional nursing education program, Master’s degree in nursing or Bachelor’s degree in nursing and related Master’s degree required. Consideration will be given to candidates with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing with commitment to complete Master’s program within five years in position.
