Finance Administrator to manage bookkeeping, accounting, and general administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Full-charge bookkeeping
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank, credit card, general ledger, and commission reconciliations
• Journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end preparation
• Insurance carrier and agency commission statement reconciliation
• General auditing and financial record maintenance
• Database management, reporting, and data entry
• Assisting with payroll, employee records, and basic HR duties
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, and accrual accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database systems
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
• Insurance agency experience is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
