As a Security Officer Entry Control in Port Isabel, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong customer service. In this role, you will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor and vehicle activity in support of security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Communicate with site personnel regarding deliveries, escorts, restricted access requests, and/or operational changes to help support orderly site access and security-related awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
