About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required. License: Active RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure required. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Description: Float may be required to units of similar or lower acuity as needed. Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate. Candidates must confirm that they have reviewed all details of the position, including shift and housing, and are pre-closed to sign if offered. Candidates should have experience with a diverse patient population. Patients may include those recovering from general surgery, trauma, respiratory failure, GI bleed, sepsis, and many others. Only specific types of patients will not be cared for. Special procedures or equipment used may include various medical devices and monitoring equipment. Candidates must be prepared to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. Skills in managing various medical protocols and patient care techniques are essential. Candidates should be adept in telemetry and cardiac management. Knowledge of wound care and other related procedures will be advantageous.
