Role Summary

We are seeking a high-impact SAP AI Transformation Lead to drive AI discovery, adoption, and value realization across the Customer SAP landscape. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and AI/innovation teams to identify high-value opportunities, shape the roadmap, and accelerate enterprise adoption of AI-enabled SAP capabilities.

The ideal candidate combines consulting, SAP transformation, enterprise architecture, and AI strategy expertise. The role is focused not just on technology implementation, but on discovering business-led AI use cases, prioritizing them based on value, and driving adoption at scale .

Key Responsibilities

1) AI Use Case Discovery & Opportunity Identification

• Lead discovery sessions with business and IT stakeholders to identify AI opportunities across SAP processes and adjacent enterprise workflows.
• Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of AI use cases across domains such as:
  • Supply chain and planning
  • Procurement
  • Finance and shared services
  • Customer operations
  • HR and workforce enablement
• Translate pain points, inefficiencies, and repetitive tasks into AI-led opportunities.
• Evaluate use cases based on feasibility, business value, complexity, and readiness.

2) SAP AI Strategy & Roadmap Definition

• Define the AI adoption strategy for SAP, aligned with enterprise transformation priorities.
• Create a phased roadmap covering quick wins, pilot initiatives, and scaled enterprise adoption.
• Recommend how to leverage SAP AI capabilities, ecosystem tools, and partner solutions.
• Drive decisions on build vs. buy vs. integrate options for AI-enabled SAP scenarios.

3) Business Case & Value Realization

• Define expected business outcomes for each use case, including productivity gains, cycle-time reduction, cost savings, process quality improvement, and user experience enhancement.
• Develop business cases and ROI models to support prioritization and executive buy-in.
• Establish measurable KPIs for AI adoption and business impact.
• Track realized benefits and continuously refine the portfolio of use cases.

4) Solution Shaping & Architecture Alignment

• Work with SAP architects, enterprise architects, data teams, and delivery teams to shape scalable AI-enabled SAP solutions.
• Ensure AI use cases align with enterprise architecture standards, SAP roadmap, security, compliance, and data governance requirements.
• Define solution patterns for AI integration into SAP workflows, automation layers, and decision-support processes.
• Support the development of PoCs, pilots, and transition to scaled production solutions.

5) Adoption, Change Management & Enablement

• Drive stakeholder alignment and business readiness for AI adoption.
• Define change management, communication, and training approaches to improve usage and trust in AI-enabled capabilities.
• Partner with business leaders to embed AI into operating rhythms and decision-making.
• Build awareness of "AI in SAP" opportunities across teams through demos, workshops, use-case showcases, and best-practice sharing.

6) Governance & Delivery Oversight

• Establish governance mechanisms for AI use-case intake, prioritization, approval, progress tracking, and value measurement.
• Monitor delivery progress from ideation through implementation and adoption.
• Surface risks, blockers, dependencies, and escalation points to leadership.
• Ensure repeatable learning, reusable assets, and standard methods are created for future AI adoption initiatives.

7) Thought Leadership & Innovation

• Bring market-leading views on AI in SAP and enterprise transformation.
• Advise stakeholders on emerging opportunities in enterprise AI, agentic workflows, process intelligence, and business automation.
• Act as the trusted transformation advisor for AI-led SAP modernization and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP & Transformation Expertise

• Strong experience in SAP transformation programs, ideally including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, integrations, enterprise process transformation, or SAP-enabled business change.
• Solid understanding of SAP business processes across one or more functional areas such as Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Customer Operations, or HR.
• Experience working with large enterprise SAP landscapes in complex environments.

AI & Innovation Expertise

• Experience identifying and shaping AI, automation, or digital transformation use cases in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML/GenAI concepts and how they can be applied in business process transformation.
• Ability to connect AI opportunities to real business outcomes rather than technology experimentation.

Consulting & Stakeholder Management

• Strong workshop facilitation and discovery skills.
• Ability to engage senior business leaders, transformation sponsors, and delivery teams.
• Strong storytelling, executive presentation, and business case development capability.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
