Shifts: Sunday-Tuesday: 6:30pm - 7am (Three 12-hour shifts with no on-call responsibilities)

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment at a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center, focusing on creating diagnostic images and providing safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients
• Create diagnostic images utilizing CT technology
• Conduct CT exams on trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, and research patients
• Perform specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possession of a limited practice permit in NY
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Entry-level position; MIT Level assigned based on skill set and experience
