Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Troy, NY as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment for emergency department, ICU, and inpatient studies. The role requires working independently with an imaging aide and supporting a high-volume ER environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Valid New York state license with injection privileges required.
• Minimum 3-4 years of CT experience. Must be 100% independent and competent in all CT scans except cardiac.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience performing CT in emergency and inpatient settings, including ICU patients.
• Experience working with Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT or equivalent multi-slice scanners preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using Epic EMR preferred.
• Experience supervising or working with imaging aides preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2300-0700.
• Work days: Sunday through Thursday.
• Position requires independent operation of CT scanner within the emergency department setting.
• May perform scans on ER, ICU, and inpatient populations.

As a CT technologist in this assignment you will support rapid diagnostic workflows in a busy emergency department. Your skills will contribute to timely diagnosis and treatment for a 40-plus bed ER and inpatient units.
