Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Troy, NY as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment. This role requires independent performance of CT examinations for emergency department, ICU, and inpatient populations using a Philips Brilliance 64-slice scanner and the EMH Epic system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Valid New York state license with CT injection privileges.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 3-4 years of CT experience. Must be 100% independent and competent in all CT scans except cardiac.
• Experience working in emergency department and inpatient settings, including independent operation of a Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner and familiarity with Epic imaging workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume emergency department (40+ bed ED).
• Experience working with imaging aides and performing rapid turnaround CTs for ED and ICU patients.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 23000700.
• Shift days: Sunday through Thursday.
• Holiday/weekend requirement includes Labor Day (9/6).
• Must be able to work independently with an imaging aide and manage ED, ICU, and inpatient CTs.
