Up to $45/hr + 10% Night Shift Premium | Work Only ~180 Days a Year | 3-Day Weekend Every Other Weekend

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL

Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (2-2-3 Schedule)

Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines
• Maintain robotics, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Respond to machine alarms and production downtime events
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Complete root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Repair and maintain molding, assembly, and packaging equipment
• Calibrate and troubleshoot robotic equipment
• Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities
• Enter maintenance activities into SAP/CMMS systems
• Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Maintain GMP, safety, and Lockout/Tagout compliance

What We're Looking For

Injection molding maintenance experience

Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment

Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Machine setup, processing, or mold change experience

Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule

Manufacturing experience

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
