Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support front and back office operations, including patient rooming, scheduling, vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and clinical support.
Responsibilities
Greet and room patients.
Schedule appointments and answer phones.
Take and document vital signs.
Perform blood draws and venipuncture.
Administer vaccines.
Perform EKG and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
Provide additional clinical support as needed.
Maintain a collaborative relationship with center staff.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, in addition to an externship.
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience.
EMR experience.
Front and back-office experience.
Experience with scheduling, patient rooming, and vital signs.
EKG and POC testing experience.
Current BLS or CPR certification. Candidates without either may start pending approval.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and computer skills.
