Schedule: Part-Time, 16–20 hours per week \n
Shift Hours: Typically, between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible based on facility needs)\n
Education Required: Doctoral Degree (MD or DO)\n

Position Overview \n
\nSeeking a board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist to provide on-site psychiatric services to a male incarcerated population on a part-time basis (16–20 hours per week).\n
\nThe provider will see approximately 12–16 patients per 8-hour shift, with a total caseload of 75–100 patients. The assignment is expected to last at least 6 months, with strong potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance and organizational needs.\n

Key Responsibilities \n
\n•    Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment services using nationally recognized treatment standards\n
\n•    Conduct examinations and complete evaluations and reports\n
\n•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests\n
\n•    Manage and prescribe medications\n
\n•    Make referrals for specialized care or additional treatment as needed\n
\n•    Document all services in the electronic health record (EHR) system\n
\n•    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams\n
\n•    Perform duties in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and correctional healthcare standards\n
\n•    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews\n
\n•    Engage in collaborative agreements when required\n

Required Credentials & Documentation \n
\n•    Comprehensive CV (including education with location and graduation year, training, and complete work history)\n
\n•    Active Ohio Medical License\n
\n•    Healthcare Provider-level CPR Certification\n
\n•    DEA Certification\n
