We’re looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Port Charlotte, FL area. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers must direct workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives of Mavis, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information regarding repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess: 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
