Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - Full Time Nights

Employment Type Full time Shift 12 Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Works full‑time, 36 hours per week, every third weekend and rotating holidays. Description Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid‑Atlantic, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the team in our Emergency Department. The unit is a Level III Trauma, 27‑bed facility and the first and only geriatric‑certified emergency department in Delaware. Responsibilities Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Assists the emergent patient and documents accordingly on the Emergency Room nursing tool. Identifies patient needs based on objective data and follows through with appropriate documentation. Implements appropriate nursing actions for each identified patient need. Makes decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment. Discusses with the patient and/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and documents decision. Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware. Previous ER and/or acute care experience required.
