Receiving Clerk

Receiving ClerkAt Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), the Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring warehouse efficiency and accuracy by unloading inbound freight, inspecting materials for damage or shortages, and delivering products to the appropriate department for the second stage of receiving. This role requires safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks, strong communication with internal departments, and the ability to support additional tasks as directed by the Distribution Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & InspectionUnload and inspect inbound freight for accuracy, damage, or shortagesEnsure proper entry of freight locations within SAPDeliver materials to designated departments for secondary processingOrganization & MaintenanceMaintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving laneFollow all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelinesCross-Department SupportCommunicate effectively with warehouse and distribution teamsAssist other departments with tasks as directed by the Distribution ManagerMiscellaneousSupport our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customersOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDBasic computer skillsForklift experience (certification preferred)Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and maintain attention to detailCompensation and BenefitsThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
