Mileage reimbursement provided. ARISE is an Equal Opportunity Employer. ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide community habilitation services in the Camillus, NY area. The role involves supporting a client in his early 50s who enjoys ice skating, rollerblading, the YMCA, basketball, hiking, and food shopping, as well as household chores. New hires will receive training, support, and guidance from the client and the agency to deliver services effectively. The position requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must complete a background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check prior to hire. Prior experience is a plus but not mandatory. The DSP will also have access to technology applications and must adhere to ARISE/EFR'S technology policy. Qualifications Valid driver’s license required. Effective communication and organizational skills. Flexibility with assignments and schedule. Reliable transportation to arrive at job sites on time. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
