Job Details Job Location: Baldwinsville - NY Position Type: Per Diem Education Level: None Salary Range: $26.00 - $26.00 Hourly Self‑Direction DSP – Baldwinsville, NY Area (Job #JLF‑PB) ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Baldwinsville area with an independent 43‑year‑old man who has Mild Intellectual Disability. He seeks a dedicated individual to provide him with transportation, involve him in community life, and teach skills for independent living both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities Transport him in the community, shop, visit local parks, hike, and spend a lot of time outside. Provide transportation, community engagement, and support for independent living skills. Ensure reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the agency. Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license. Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive at job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
