INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST

US Marine Corps

Duties

You will assist senior industrial hygienists in conducting routine surveys of industrial, maintenance, and administrative workspaces.

You will calibrate, maintain, and operate standard industrial hygiene sampling equipment (e.g., air pumps, noise dosimeters).

You will collect environmental samples and record precise field data for laboratory analysis.

You will conduct occupational health and safety training for military and civilian personnel on hazard recognition and prevention.

You will investigate complex and diverse workplace environments involving multiple, concurrent hazards (e.g., toxic chemicals, extreme noise, heavy metals).

You will manage and direct a comprehensive installation-wide or command-wide industrial hygiene program.
