Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - 12-Hour Days
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Weekends as scheduled.
We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, managing a variety of patient diagnoses, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to appropriate personnel.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
Document all patient interactions accurately using the EPIC charting system.
Active RN license.
Experience in medical-surgical nursing with a strong background necessary for managing diverse patient needs.
BLS required; NIHSS certification required for all RNs and LPNs; ACLS and PALS recommended but not required.
Demonstrated proficiency with the EPIC charting system.
