ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oakland, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit Schedule 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend as scheduled. Extra shifts may be available, with possibilities for block scheduling based on preferences. Job Description The Medical/Surgical unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic patient care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical-surgical experience due to the variety of patient diagnoses. Responsibilities include managing care for patients with conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and post-operative surgical recovery. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed. Assist with procedures and patient education. Participate in unit orientation, training programs, and policy reviews. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have prior experience in a medical/surgical unit. Epic experience is required. BLS and NIHSS certification required for RNs and LPNs.
