In this dynamic, contract-based role, you’ll deliver essential speech and language services to K-12 students, making a meaningful difference in their academic and social development. Preference is given to those able to work onsite, however, virtual candidates may be considered if onsite support is in place.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Georgia and/or state educator certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCCs) desirable
• Previous experience in school-based environments highly valued
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to full-time hours throughout the school year

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language abilities
• Design and implement tailored therapy plans
• Track progress, maintain thorough records, and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to maximize student support
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute insights on student development
• Stay current with best practices and serve as a speech-language resource within the school community
