Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and devising individualized care regimens
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in concert with physicians (based on your credentials)
• Guiding patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management strategies
• Prescribing medications and therapies according to your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and the management of chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide coherent and comprehensive care
• Maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner training program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nebraska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
